The Hellman's Archives

At a recent Sew and Sew get together Mary Jane presented her newest find and her dish for our picnic was made from a recipe in this book! It was delicious. Why am I discussing this in Sewtopia? Well, perusing the book during our luncheon I was gob-smacked with memories of the 1970's and 1980's.

So many of these recipes are remembered from magazine ads, pot luck recipe exchanges and church dinners. As a result, I just have to share some of them. I would also like to use the recipes in the book as a basis for the group Fall tea. Our Fall Tea last year ( remember this?) was so nice but we can recreate this look and food on our own I am sure. I have come up with a name, a theme or sorts,  using the Hellman;s Cookbook. I am thinking... The Happy Hellman's Harvest Tea. (((insert smile here)))

I will share some of my favorite recipes here, linked to the Kitchen Chronicles.
