Thank You Blogger

I was glad to see that Blogger did upload my posts without prompts, as scheduled,  when I signed on last night. I have been without power due to a wiring problem in the house for a couple days. Thanks to a very handy, efficient and timely electrician that I met standing in the rain at Costco, I am fixed! Yeah John. This is an event that I attribute to the "synchronicity of life!" Always something.

the Redwork Calendar Quilt

Part of the electrical investigation involved men in the attic.....the steps to the attic are through a door in a large closet. In the closet was  a shrink bag with this inside. The second quilt I ever made. I very much like doing Redwork. I hand quilted this, in what I thought was shadow quilting at the time. I shared this with my Tuesday quilt group, they were so kind. Now, back to sorting out the studio. I have a bit of fabric to move down there. Understatement of the century.

Gratuity Moment: dear Son who drove an hour here, late at night, to deal with electrical emergency.

Thank You so much. He is a wonderful man, he was born that way. I am keeping busy, renewing contacts with friends. A slow and difficult process I'm afraid. Your comments are much appreciated.
