Good morning! A cool and damp day here, we had some light rain overnight and everything is looking green again. Thankfully. Even the tree fungus is perking up! Don't you just marvel at the colors of nature? Stunning.

I did manage to do some flat surface management in the last few days. It has a very refreshing feeling. I have tossed a bit of paper, some old thread, and just junk. I am not sure how I accumulate this but I do. Lots of "test stitching" actually from some machines I have given away. Those machines did their work for me and now are teaching someone else how to stitch and have fun at the same time.

  • photo's soon, I will not finish every flat surface this week. I am hoping to share at least half of the project in the next couple days.
  • I have some new tools to discuss as well. I have a passion for my gadgets and widgets and keeping them accessible and at is important. If you can't find them you don't use them. I know someone who keeps every tool, except the ones in current use, stored in its original packaging. What an amazing person. By the way, that is not me. I have taken to labeling my storage places with contents because I do often forget where I put them. I am considering a new way to store my extra feet for the machines (near each machine) and sergers.
  •  Some interesting information and tutorial from Mary Corbet, HERE. Drawn Thread Embroidery is rather advanced for me but Mary shares many tips and tricks and a project coming in the future if you want to test your skills.

Are you ready for a skillfully rendered murder mystery series? Well, I have now discovered a French author Jean Luc-Bannalac, all three in this series are set in Brittany. Death in Brittany, that is a 4 stars for me, and now Murder on Brittany Shores, just started by good so far. Murder on Brittany Shores: A Mystery (Brittany Mystery Series Book 2)Providing engaging descriptors of the area, the people, and of course, the mystery!

So, that's all for now. Off to hospital for the Reclast infusion, wish me luck. Darn bones of mine, always something.
