On my "catch-up" day the only thing I caught up on was rest. I was exhausted from trying to maintain my regular routines AND do the big parts of the challenge. Not my best idea. This week I will plan better. I have a medical issue to take care of next week and will likely be off the ranch for about 5 days. I will try to get as much done as possible. This was all unplanned but stuff happens, you know.
I decided to not press and stack my scraps from those very untidy drawers. Why? Because I will probably not use them and will end up packing them for donation. Time, I do not have. No worries, Bruce is on guard. Have to laugh, one of the workmen has taken photos with him, he remains a neighborhood fascination. What a man!!!
D-disarray
I-I made this mess.
S-Such a situation.
S-Still a mess.
T-time is of the essence!
E-Eliminate.
R-Resolutions, lots of them.
- The last time I did this I was younger, stronger, more motivated.
- I may not need any more fabric, kits, thread, irons, tools, yada, yada!
- I am wondering about all that older rayon thread, really wondering. I will do some testing.
- Magazines, books, instructions. Do I need all these? Probably not......
- My books, yes my books are keepers, very few of those will go.
- I need to sort my cookbooks out of this room. They are everywhere.
****Well, what a week. That is all I can say. Some things got done, some did not, but I am still at it!
Hopefully, I will have more to share by the end of the day tomorrow. Celebrations today with family and tomorrow as well. I try to fit in little bursts of work between cooking and going. Ha! Anyway, I will publish week three tonight. Today I am in FLAT SURFACE FRENZY. You will see what I mean.
