Monday in the kitchen. With the Fall season approaching, I know my pressure cooker and slow cooker will be busy. A great way to feed the family or serve and save a pot roast or stew, so many great meals can be quickly prepared in our Instant Pots. I choose the serve and save method more and more often these days because by doing this I can defrost and reheat another meal in minutes.
I have mentioned in the past that I have been using the heavy silicone seal and reuse bags for about a year. They protect from freezer burn, hold about a half gallon or so and wash up like a dream. After washing I prop them over a drinking glass and make sure they dry thoroughly. I place a paper towel in the bag for storage. No off-scent so far, no staining either. I thought you might like this little guide. Adjusting your own recipes to the instant pot is not difficult. Check your owners manual for guidelines.
After a long day of washing walls and windows this is my go to. Have a great day.*the silicone bags are available on Amazon and at other big box retailers.
