Quilty Friend Terri has been a busy lady. She is always stretching her artistic process and venture into ways to enhance her quilt designs with creative quilting on her Baby Lock Coronet.
This pattern and the way she has graded the colors in each block is beautiful and the off setting frames really make the design pop. A modern design, this one is surely a one of my favorites.
The bold colors in this quilt are more pronounced with the wave quilting. Terri's ruler work always surprises me. That is the difference between a quilter, like me, and an artist like Terri. Thank you Dear Friend for sharing this beauty.
- Terri formed the "waves" with her ruler work and popped those little circles into the pattern for dimension.
- I think it is perfect. Many quilts these days are simple line-stitched and are beautiful. Adding curving lines adds another element. While I would not have considered it, these circles make the pattern.
- Good friends are special.
