Seen and Shared, Sewtopia is On The Scene!

While doing some research on a totally unrelated subject, I came across some ideas that may spark your creativity while getting some use out of your sewing machine! We all have little projects in the pipeline and I may have a few quick ideas here to help you celebrate the season.

Halloween Appliqued Palette Coaster Sewing Tutorial at the Nancy Zieman Productions BlogWho doesn't need a "mug rug" formerly known as a Coaster! Well, here is a quick little project you might consider. A simple zig-zag for your tack down will have you spinning your creative webs! Pun, get it? This is on Nancy Zieman's blog, HERE!

Patchwork quilt made from vintage sheets and linens from the 60's and 70'sAs quilters we have all heard the stern admonishions of the QUILT POLICE to Never use bed sheets for quilts or backing. Well, Amy of the Diary of a Quilter Blog, went astray and did just that with a collection of vintage sheets, with, hold on now, POLYESTER! Yikes... and she remains free on bond. Ha. Anyway, here is her post about this brave foray into the valley of the unknown, HERE!

Now this pattern is so darn cute I just had to share. From Vicki's Crafts and Quilting, HERE! What a nice little quick project for the season.

  • Before we know it, Christmas will be here, get that red and green thread now because you never know about supply chain issues! Like we don't have a stash already!
  • Right now I have too many little projects to wrap up. The weekend will (hopefully) allow me some time to finish them to start Christmas.
  • Hope you have the opportunity to spend with family, close friends, and nature.
