Flashback Friday: Project Linus Quilts, Tote Bags, Porches!!!

Good Morning all. In spite of so much work ahead today I think I would prefer a good book, a glass of iced tea, and a nice little moment or two.

A nice day for a good sit I think. I have always considered my porches as part of my living space but today the nasty, buzzing mud hornets have driven me inside. When the sun wanes I will need to knock down their nests and spray. Now, on this little porch, I would bet no insect has ever come uninvited! PS: this is not my porch😉

May be an image of tree and outdoorsIt is Flashback Friday!

Several members of our Ladies of the Cloth Tuesday Quilting Group donate quilts to Project Linus. This one is 6 inch finished blocks. A simple pattern with nice pops of color. Finished is approximately 36 inch squares.

Here is another cutie, same pattern, different fabrics. Betty Jane is so good with color!

Here is a beautifully made and finished little bag. Anyone would love to have this one! Our Terri is the type of quilter who uses her fabric talents beyond quilting. Here she has crafted two great pieces. I am so impressed and always enjoy studying her work.

  • Can you believe it is mid-July already?
  • I hope you are able to enjoy some entertainment venue's that were out of reach last Summer!
  • Have a nice weekend. Have you branched out, moved beyond your stitching comfort zone?
