😁 Good Morning All. There are changes coming to Blogger. (again) I will share that next week. In the meantime I decided it was time to upgrade our "Look." So, today while I share the new, I will also share an an older favorite post. In the sewing, quilting, needlework world we are always trying to make the best use of our space. Whether it is a remodeled closet or a stand alone space, needle workers are always considering how they can improve on their process. I belong to an online group that does nothing but focus on their sewing rooms. I have seen some amazing spaces. Today I share Connie's space again. Now, she has since moved, twice, and has a new space in progress. She is so lucky to have her husband who does the most amazing builds! She calls him Builder Bob! *I would love to have this design wall, really.
Studio Envy!
Good day everyone. You know how I long for, wish for, dream of the perfect studio space. That said, I have been following Connie, of Free Motion by the River blog, for some time and her new studio space will have you spinning. A lady with major talent, she shares and explains all of her work and her photo's will have you sprinting to your machine to try her techniques and patterns.
This great studio space is the result of great planning and preparation. On the long wall she displays some finished products, her machines are placed to best advantage and this new sliding design wall, well, is the best. It doubles as a door to cover shelves full of fabric.
Just click on the link to read the full post and there are tabs that will take you to all the posts about the design and building of the space. Her blog is loaded literally with great ideas and finished products.
Photo used with permission from Connie and the link will take you to this particular post. Have a great day!!! Thank you Connie.

- A few new books came this week. I will share those soon. If only I had the time to do half of what I want to do!
- I had lunch with a dear stitching friend in our favorite tea shop this week. Oh, how great it was to be normal again. The dining rooms were busy, people were talking, laughing, enjoying great little tea sandwiches. A high point, let me tell you!
- Another dear friend has transitioned to his heavenly life. I know, at this age, we will experience these events. As young adults this stage of our lives seemed so far, far away. Now it is here and I am determined to make every day count. To be productive, to study and learn, to do the best I can. Have a great day, no matter how it forms for you, know that this is the only day you will have that is just like this, enjoy it, it is a gift.
