Spring is Coming, A Treat for Quilters

 Not Blooming yet, but soon!

Good Morning all. I wanted to let you know about a special event supported by quilters. If you have an interest in American Quilt Study, this little event might interest you.

So, mark your calendars, set an alarm on your phone and pour a cup of tea while you enjoy this special event.  I have subscribed to Quiltfolk from the beginning. It is an amazing bit of work from people all over the country. It is a pricey subscription I might add, but this event is free. Just add the AQSG group from your Facebook page.

Quiltfolk is excited to sponsor Quiltside Chats, a series of free, lively conversations about the remarkable quilts from the International Quilt Museum (IQM)! Every episode of Quiltside Chats will feature IQM’s Curator of Collections Carolyn Ducey and various members of the American Quilt Study Group (AQSG).

Mark your calendars because the first of eight episodes will air this Sunday, March 21 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Tune into AQSG’s Facebook and YouTube channel to watch Carolyn Ducey and Marianne Fons as they discuss a very special quilt made in the 1920s by Susa Harris Hale from Hunt County, Texas.

It’s free to participate and no registration is required!May be an image of text
