Just Had to Share! The Doodle Quilter Extraordinaire!

My Coronet is fired up, new lighting strip applied, hard ruler table installed, waiting, just waiting for me to get on the pony and ride! The Doodle quilt class I took from Julia taught the basics, I need to practice.

  •  I think I mentioned yesterday that I have taken some online classes, some really good, some not so much. I am so inspired by learning from those much more skilled than I. When I see outstanding work like that done by Julia Quiltoff, I am in awe, this gift, this skill has to be sent from Heaven above. I kid you not! Yesterday, she posted these photo's on her Facebook page. She states she has been working on many black background quilts recently, this one she was permitted to share. On that I note, I had to show you just how fabulous her work is, why I took her class, and just how far I have to go!!! I have never seen a black quilt. Absolutely stunning stitching and the jewel colors made it hard to stop staring.
