If this one doesn't tickle your funny bone, well, it is hopeless I tell you, hopeless!
As I sit down to write this it is the end of a long day. Not because I worked so hard, not because it was fraught with anxiety, the opposite actually. It was a beautiful blue sky, hot air, a slight breeze kind of day. One that I have been aching for, a day that seemed impossible just a week ago. It was long because I made it long. I stretched it out, I savored it, almost like a child at the end of a day at the amusement park, I didn't want it to end.
  • The news of the week, Missouri Star bought Nancy Zieman from Tacony. On the surface it is sort of a big deal, look deeper and it is a really big deal. I think Nancy would be good with it.
  • FYI, the flour milled for pizza crust does not work well for bread, maybe for paving sidewalks but not for bread. Write that down.
  • People are getting cranky. Yesterday the pharmacy manager and my husband had a bit of a kerfluffle, today the receptionist at my doctor's office and my husband had a kerfluffle. Things are a bit crazy at the gas station too, another kerfluffle! Mmm, I see a pattern. We go green today. I like green, I believe in green, I want to know what comes next, Fuschia?  
Do you remember a few weeks ago I tested these pens and they worked so well? Yes, they disappear with heat. So far I have wet them, dried them, chilled them, etc. and the marks disappeared with the touch of an iron.
Probably one of the biggest revelations of my two-week break. I cannot see to thread my cross-stitch needles. Yes, I know, when did that happen? Actually, it started two days ago. Just like that. No matter what I did, left-handed as usual, right-hand nada. With or without thread conditioner, no luck. I can't find my threaders! I think I have one in an antique sewing box. So, this stitcher is dead in the water on that front. Amazon has them, in packs of 100, let me know if you are in need. With shipping delays what they are, I am hoping they get here at least by the time my Jane Fiddes, 1823 chart, fabric,  and thread come. I think they strapped the package to the back of a dolphin and it is swimming the long way from the UK and France. I finally did get a response to my inquires from the shop that was quite terse, on the verge of rude. Strike that one from my list of small businesses to support, just saying.
  • I broke a toe.
  • I gained then lost 5 lbs. I ate ice cream.
  • I really look witchy in gray hair. Took care of that.
