Facebook Friday-Yo-Yo Quilt

The humble Yo-Yo! I haven't made one for years, probably 20 or so. I do like this one. As explained by the maker, she makes the yo-yo's, appliques them to the backing then applies the button through the yo-yo, the foundation, the batting and the backing. The button becomes the stabilizing Quilt Stitch.  I like it.
  • A great way to use small pieces of fabric or yardage.
  • Have a button collection? You are good to go.
  • And this is portable, really portable. Love it.
