Take Time for Tuesday Tea

Auditioning Fall Decor with the tea pots right now. I have to be mindful that little stems overhanging might not be the best idea with Little Miss Wonderdog! These are all part of the Polish Pottery Collection. These are my everyday dishes. Stoneware that can go from hot to cold, to use for serving and storage, are pretty and functional.

This is the pot we will use this afternoon. A newer one to the collection, this set is a happy little flower garden. No sweets today, just a little saltine or two, Lasagna for dinner and that will be quite enough.
One of my favorite past-times is haunting book stores. Many have closed. The book on the left, the gold-colored one, is one of a series popular in the Hallmark stores in years past. "Apples of Gold"  is a compilation of sweet little poems and verses. The book on the right was a bonus gift from one of the book clubs I have joined in the past. As the title says these are famous and popular poems just right for contemplation, with tea, on a Tuesday!
