A Farm Visit and August Tea

One of my favorite little flowers BEFORE the deer had their late night snack.

Triple B Farms in Elizabeth, Pa.
A winding driveway leads you to this bucolic little farm.
All through the growing season there are fresh fruits and vegetable to tempt you.
The season is on a fast track now. As each day passes we are reminded to get stitching those Harvest and Christmas projects. I think seasonal changes have always been an incentive to me, a fresh start four times a year here. That said, hitting the local farms and farm markets is one of the highlights for the cook. Nothing compares with fresh produce. This little local farm is a gem, hidden near Elizabeth, Pa.

I wanted to share this photo of a little tea setting by Carolyn of Aiken House and Garden Blog. One quick look through her posts reminds me that we all need to take a break, to slow down, to enjoy what is left of Summer. You have no idea how pained I am that our beautiful warm weather will be a memory!!!
I do apologize for nothing new posted in recent days.I think I am enjoying the weather a bit too much! However, drum roll here, I cleaned my studio! All of it, well except the bookshelves, sorted all the patterns, moved some over-flow items to another storage space, tossed lots of junk and  now I don't want to mess it up. Insert groan here.  Next week there will be some new quilts by friends, some knitted beauties as well. I may even take a pic or two of the sewing space in Sewtopia before that changes. Have a lovely day.
