Calling George Jetson! As soon as I saw how she named these pillows I was intrigued. I have seen different incantations of this pattern since the 1960's. I know, who knew I was so old! Well I am. Anyway, husband's Grandmother wasted nothing, I mean nothing. Every fabric scrap had a destination and pillows like these graced her living room couch. One Summer set was in a gray background floral bark cloth and the Winter set was in thin wale corduroy. Orange corduroy. Stuffed with used washed and shredded nylons and pantyhose. Remember those? Ha!
You can copy the paper template, use an Accuquilt cutting die or your own acrylic template of the same measurements.
- It looks like I am going to be computer shopping, this one is taking fits. I never know what I want to get when the upgrade time comes.
- These pillows would be so darn cute in Christmas fabrics. 5 months from now people, 5 months!!!
- I just hope Son gets moved into the new house by Thanksgiving. That is the ONLY event meal that I don't have to cook. Is that selfish? Too bad. I need a break. Please understand, I like to cook, I like planning the big-deal meals but I would also like to be the guest now and then, know what I mean? Need to speed them along with the remodel!
