A casual afternoon tea. |

Country French bread, sliced thin, onion chive cream cheese spread and paper thin sliced ham for this little snack. A few lucious little tomatoes and Spanish olives round out the plate. Oh, look at that, a dragonfly cake! |
It is June already! How Did This Happen? Where Did May Go? I have noticed that the
pleasant months to advance on hyper speed. In a few weeks I will be working on my
Christmas in July Projects. I hope. Remember that my baby puppy arrives mid-July. I might be a little busy and by-the-way, get ready for photo toxicity. I am pre-warning everyone 💞
OK, back to the subject at hand. My family knows me and my insatiable passion for dishware, old, new, chipped or not. I have no idea how this started but it has not waned, at all. This beautiful tea set was conceived by my Dear Son and his thoughtful girl friend. I have only known her for about a year and a half but she is on to me. With my Birthday and Mother's Day occurring at the same time I feel that I burden "gifters" with my sentinel events. I say NO MORE GIFTS, do they listen? No.

Pottering around in the garden, a light lunch tea is just right for a warm and breezy day. |
Over the years my go-to cook ware is Le Cruset. I have gifted some pieces to the dynamic duo cooking companions (they are both passionate cooks) and in return they have gifted this sweet new edition of stoneware.

Each mug in this collection is a slightly different color, the colors are gradient colored as well. |

Most of my flowers did not fare well after the storms.A few of the ancient red/black roses remain intact. |
- HERE is a brief tutorial about machine stitched quilt binding, and the use of Elmer's School Glue! I am not the only one! The lovely Susan blogs at Quilt Fabrication.
