I try-try-try to make Thursdays a sew day, my day. My current plan is to bring Miss Feathers out for a little run. She is a sweetie but doesn't get much use lately. A buff and a polish is in order too. Hope you have a good day too.
On a totally different subject....have you seen the latest Oreo cookie commercial? The one with the Father and Daughter lying on their backs eating cookies while looking to the stars in the night sky? Anyway, I was taken with the background music. A little research revealed that this is a lost demo tape from the 1960's of a teen family group who used to sing while cleaning up after dinner and washing dishes. Eventually, they made this demo tape. It was found at a garage sale in a box with many other tapes. The lead singer ended up working for Bell Telephone and not singing. What a great loss. This is categorized as a "Lost Soul Tape" and has been used in movies and commercials. The family apparently has not been compensated.
