Making New With A Vintage View

First, let me apologize for the color in these photo's. Much to my dismay I am having some issues with my favorite point and shoot camera. The background muslin in this quilt is an off-white, but not this off-white.

Anyway, just look at these two adorable quilts made with vintage fabrics and using vintage patterns. Rose, from the Ladies of the Cloth group, is an expert in smalls. She can take the most small piece of fabric and turn it into something. This quilt is just such an example.

The backing fabric she chose pairs so well with the vintage fabrics. Rose machine quilted this on her sit-down long arm machine.
Too sweet, like an afternoon nap at Granny's. This close up photo more accurately represents the true color of the background fabric.
Quilt number two, more vintage fabrics. This is such an innovative way to use those wedding ring pieces!
The center of t he quilt is a collection of pinwheels.
An eclectic collection of vintage fabrics combine to make a sweet little quilt. Also machine quilted, this one is filled with swirls and twirls.

Romeo and Juliet toile populate the backing fabric. What I find most interesting in Rose's work is that she can look at a fabric, design the quilt to suit and come up with the most enchanting finished pieces. Thanks for sharing Rose.
