Embroidery in progress, when I designed this pattern I forgot to have the machine cut the jump stitches. I have mentioned before that there is much to learn on the Destiny, but I need to use it more. That would help! This was the tester for the Ladies of the Cloth Valentine exchange.
Miss Destiny got to ride in the car this week. No matter how hard I tried I had a heck of a time doing the updates and upgrade. So we packed her chubby self up, settled her in her Styrofoam inside and hard sided travel case and off we went. I am really fortunate because my dealer is #1 when it comes to service and assistance. Jeanine was able to solve my problem and took care of everything. We are very happy.

The first color stitching out. |
The Upgrade added quite a few enhancements to existing systems, many new decorative embroideries and great new methods to use in IQ designer function. I have lots of practicing to do!
I wanted to get a jump on some St. Patrick's Day projects. This design was one of several bonus designs on a USB that the dealer provided with the purchase of the upgrade. (dealer is
Gloria Horn Sewing Studio's in Mt. Lebanon, Pa. ) I used one of those cotton/linen towels in my stash and off we went.

Second color stitching out. I have some other stitching to finish on this one and peel away the stabilizer. I'll share the finished product later. | | |

I may use this design on something else I am considering. Make it a bit smaller I think. What a great machine.
- I recently read a couple posts about Sewists who are so intimidated by their machines that they don't use them. What a shame. Now is the time to get in there, experiment, play....you are under warranty. Just do it.
- If you have issues, return to your dealer. Hopefully, yours is as attentive as mine. Great team.
