The Egg, A New (to me) Idea

Good morning Sewists! Hope your Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations are going well. During this two week period leading up to and during the Holidays I cook, a lot. But something as simple as the egg frequently needs a boost. Enter a new method for cooking the fried egg. Not a fan, I prefer a poach but it is a bit of a pain. I saw this method on an internet cooking site the other day and tried it out on the Mr. It was a hit so I thought I would share it with my readers as well. Just click the link and read about it on Kitchen Chronicles. It may be old news to you but it was new to me!

This is how I do my eggs for years... I'm not a big egg eater but when I do (and my son) we like well cooked white...no snot for me. A friend cooked her eggs like this one day and I though it was genius. I use olive oil not butter though. It's easy to make them how you like them like this.

I should have figured this out a long time ago! I have been fussing with the fancy pans and poachers for years. This is so much easier! Husband is a fan of Irish Butter and nothing else will do on the eggs! Not much of a breakfast person, I might eat more eggs if I don't have to fuss so much. Thanks for your comment! Happy New Year.
