Lighting the Way, A Blogger is Seeking Direction

A recent visit to one of my favorite areas in Ohio, in Mondo, provided a beautiful day for snapping a few pictures. The lighthouse at Conneaut, Ohio is one of those structures that is much larger than it appears on the horizon. I caught this little boat coming in after a day of fishing.

The lighthouse analogy is significant because I am trying to determine how to keep this blog alive when I have such limited time. Yes, this takes time. It just doesn't pop off the page most of the time, Ha, Ha! Anyway, when I entered the blogger platform today I was notified that some format changes are coming in a couple days. Link searches will no longer be supported. Much of my content involves link searches. So....should I stay here or move to another service. I don't know. I really don't have time or desire to build another site. After 5+ years on this blog and another 4 on a prior blog I might be reaching the end of my tenure. 

So, as the draw bridge goes up in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio....I am going to ponder all this for a while. I am not giving up but just pondering for now. In the meantime I will do one or two re-posts that I like and hope you will too.

• Quilting is alive and well all over the country, that is a good thing.
• In some areas there are rumbles of an over-saturated market. That is not a good thing.
• I do know that my brain and creative mojo are saturated and I am not sure what that means.
