Using a blank artist canvas and a little glue ( I am thinking spray adhesive) you have decor. If you wanted some color, painting the canvas before mounting the doilies would be a subtle accent. I remember my Maternal Grandmother called doilies doities. I always thought they were doities!
Artsy, French Country Chic, Shabby Chic, Farmhouse Chic....what ever name you want to call it, finding a secondary upscale look for your Vintage crochet is a good thing.
