Thursday and My Goals

It was/is my intention to keep to my all-day-sewing day on Thursdays. It easily slips away when one is busy with one thing or another as I am sure everyone knows. But today, the first Official Thursday of the New Year, I am keeping that promise to me.

What successful, happy, content people have in common is that they set goals. Clear goals. Concrete goals, also known as SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound). Well, I am going to work on that one!

In the meantime, I have some nice little 'possible projects' for you to examine.

From 2009 this one is called Figgy Pudding. It is an 'easy' make and would do well for a quick gift and/or a service project. Directions are here.
Do you have left over strips or left over jelly rolls? Check out this pattern from the same site to use them up. Make up a few for Valentine gifts for your friends or use them for your own journals. Jazz them up!

Moda Fabrics has a great index listed for the projects of the last couple years. There are some real winners here and easily accessed. Click here.
