The Wardrobe Project, 2016: And A Special Giveaway for Participants!

A little bit of research shows that the independent pattern companies are doing well in their markets. I think that is fantastic. One of the most popular and professional is Colette Patterns. A lovely collection of original designs, these patterns have a modern interpretation of traditional styles.  For our first giveaway I want to send one of our participants a copy of their first book, The Colette Sewing Handbook!  Did I hear a Yippee?  Patterns are included!

Here is how you must enter. First leave a comment on THIS post or email me directly at kczkws4@aol.com by Friday,  January 29th, 2016 12 Midnight, EST. That's all. Just tell me why you would like to win the book and patterns and how your Wardrobe Project is coming along or if it isn't and you are stalled. That's all. Do not leave personal information in your comment please. If you win I only need an email address to contact you.  *This give away is from me and not sponsored by Colette Patterns. continental USA only.

Still studying my pattern stash and unearthed this beauty. I bought this when it was first released and I included the special tutorial with it. That was two computers ago and unfortunately the tutorial was lost. But the Colette pattern instructions are so well written I don't think it will be an issue.

The planning part of any sewing project is the fun part for me. I really liked it but it is in the long-term queue right now.

With the recent trend of independent pattern companies gaining a strong foot hold in the market, much can be discovered by studying their websites. Colette is no exception.

The Wardrobe Architect Series is worth the time and research. Even if  (like me) the patterns seem a bit 'young' the process and the designs are lovely.
