A bit of This and That from the MWQG Show.

This quilt illustrates all the little village churches in the area, made by many people.
Isn't this a lovely idea?
The Pillowcase dresses, many of us have made and gifted these.
A display of Vintage Aprons and pinafores at the Martha Washington Quilters Guild show.
Not from this show but a pic from  market. Jill Finley for Henry Glass, new fabric line for Spring. Seen at International Quilt Market Fall 2016. Jill is an amazing designer. Her fabrics and patterns showcase bright and colorful patterns and designs. She has had serious health issues in the last year or so and has documented them on her blog when she was able. She even opens her home for quilt shows at times. This fabric line with this bicycle print just called to me. The kit is available on her website but it is a bit pricey. ($90.00) so I will wait for the fabric panel to hit the local quilt shop! Check out her blog here.

The church quilt is wonderful! I was recently pondering the idea of painting each of the churches in my community. Then I was thinking it might be better to photograph them and do a paper collage type thing, but I love this idea! The aprons are sweet also. I still have my grandmother's cross stitched aprons.
