A Wooly Wednesday

One last Christmas post and it's all about the wool. I think I have shared this in the past but I thought it would be OK to do it again. I cannot remember the designer of this pattern and I cannot find the pattern right now so I apologize for that. I think he is the first 'Santa" I ever did in wool and that was probably 10 years ago. I bring him out every year. A little embroidery here and there was fun to do. I made two of these as gifts that year, this is the first one. I think the second one might have had neater stitching.
Just look at those googlie eyes! And as I look closely I see some 'hair of the dog' by the left eye. If you have a Black Lab you know what I mean!

  • I am so critical of my own work, I actually had the urge to take out some of this stitching and re-do it before I packed him away. Good grief girl, get a grip!
  • I really like doing hand work projects. I am working on my cross stitch and embroidery skills. We have a lot of work to do!
  • I need to do a craft pattern inventory. I have them in a couple different baskets but they need to be organized. I'll get to that as soon as I get everything else done.  And when I am looking for a certain pattern again...I will say the exact same thing. (((insert smile)))
  • busy day ahead, more about a wool project on Friday. Stay warm.
  • don't forget I will draw the Wooly Project Give Away Winner tomorrow at midnight EST!  Still time to enter, just click on the icon in the upper right sidebar, comment on that post and I will add your name to the group. Good luck.
