| First, the small. Susan just completed the top for this wall hanging. An Asian theme dominates the fabric choices but the jewel in the middle is hand stitched Sashiko. You heard me, Sashiko. Isn't it beautiful? I can't wait to see how she quilts and finishes it. |
Linda Sue has a little pink/purple/floral colorway going on here. These are nine-patch blocks alternating the print with the solid forming and Irish Chain. When you look at it as one piece a secondary chain pattern appears. This is one of those quilts that could work with so many different fabric combinations and look great every time.
