It's All About Paper

Well, here's another spin on spinning. Our Jenny made this spool of spun newspapers. Cool, huh? Fiber arts include many mediums. I am anxious to see what our Rose does with this. Jenny said it was a little tricky but the result, very, very interesting.

This little book, made by Terri, is full of surprises. Why you ask? Well, it is not just well done, not just colorful with great photo's but the best part is that it is tiny. I didn't measure it but it is not much more than 2 inches square. I know, amazing. To take the photo's I set my camera on the table right against the book and pressed the button. Too cute!

More about paper. Terri also made this little folded photo book. When the ribbons are undone a lovely themed array of photo's are presented. What a great keepsake for a memorable trip.
Creativity spans many mediums; fabric, yarn, paper. Stretching our artistic muscles so to speak. These examples are just a few that our Sew and Sew members share. Each unique, do you participate in any other artistic crafts?
 Yes, She's Come Undone........

The book of the same name by Wally Lamb was one of those thought provoking tomes that Oprah pitched in the early days of her book club. If you enjoy and in-depth psycho-drama, this might be for you. Just remember it is a bit dark. That is an understatement!

Have a wonderful weekend. Consider another type of craft. Examine some of the current periodicals that feature paper craft, wood carving, photography, candle making, soap making, scrap booking.  Toodles!
