A Summer Project for the Sewist/Quilter

One of my favorite blogs is A Quilting Life, written by the enthusiastic Sherri. She just published a new book in March.  Pre-Order a Signed CopyShe has shown and featured these beautiful, colorful and fresh projects regularly. For Summer, starting June 1 she is sharing her project of a Summer Organizing Series. She is sure that her studio, and yours, will benefit greatly from these daily projects and give you more time to spend doing what you love, sewing! Since my studio is perpetually in flux I think I am going to give it a spin. Want to join? Get her daily hints and follow along,  Meet Sherri here, on her blog.

The Good: an organizer for all those stabilizers, fusibles, etc.
The Bad: because the long arm table is on the left as you enter, all kinds of things get dropped there.
  1. Day 1, take a picture of your sewing space for your 'before.'
     2. Day 2, make a list of your projects: in progress, want to make, gifts, home dec etc.
The Ugly: this is just a mess, stuff not in its place, more irons, etc.
projects, etc.

*to follow my progress just click on the title in the upper right hand column, "Summer Organizing Series." I will try to keep up...............................
