Handiquilter Sweet 16
The Handi-quilter has now been turned facing the design wall and with a side table added to carry the weight of the quilt while working. I think we have a permanent position. This poor machine probably feels like the visiting relative who stayed too long considering how often it has been moved. But this place feels right, it does not obstruct passage in the room here and the Sewist has plenty of space to keep tools etc. Yeah~

This is the back of the 'Alphabet Jelly Roll' quilt that will be donated for the TRQ service project. The backing is a Michael Miller polka dot, lovely fabric and the binding is pieced scraps from the piecing and left overs. I call this self-designed quilting pattern "Swags." The finished quilt measures about 50 inches, square.
Moda fabric, jelly roll
Mr. Sewtopia pressed into service on this unbelievably beautiful sunny morning. She is done, just need to add the TRQ label and off she goes. Nice, quick, easy project. String piecing is a good way to use up left-over strips or jelly roll sets. I may make another one for a gift.........mmmmm......Have a wonderful week-end, embrace the beauty of nature and plan those Holiday projects, the clock is ticking!

Beautiful quilt!
Wouldn't it be lovely to pay a visit to you and your sewing room... in real, ofcourse :>)
And have 'a chat'...
Blessings,

Jeanneke.

thank you so much. I wish you could visit as well. We could tour all the quilt shops, stop for tea and chat for hours! I suppose this will have to do for now. Take care.
