Like Opening a Gift Box! Quilters and Their Projects-part 1

What a great bunch of surprises at the Sew and Sew Group this week. I have so many photo's to share I am going to present it as three posts. Everything from soup to nuts here!

First: Rose is the Master of Littles! As I have mentioned in prior posts, our Rose does a mean mini! This darling log cabin is only 8x12 inches. Yes, that is what I said.  Rose is making a 'book' of miniature quilts, this is January.

This is one little block, yes? She is working on a Drunkards Path, same scale but I cannot share it here yet. All those little pieces. Oh my.

Karen presented a Modern Interpretation of another Log Cabin, this one off-set and bright
 This quilt is the size of a a large throw or a twin size quilt. It is one of the happiest works I have seen for a 
 while, the colors make the pattern pop.

 The long view,  golden colored flange, the binding ready to turn. Don't you just love the quilting pattern?

Sewing those tiny pieces is not easily done with accuracy. People who do miniatures are either gifted geniuses, or gluttons for punishment!
