Quilts, quilts, quilts. A source of artistic expression, warmth, love, generosity, consolation. Quilts adorn our walls, drape our chairs and define our beds. I don't know anyone who does not appreciate a beautiful quilt. The outstanding quilts at the Expo were beautifully displayed in a gallery type of atmosphere. I only wish the lighting was better. With the black drape background they were sort of subdued when indeed they were outstanding.

A while ago I read a post by an amazing blogger. She was in the process of compiling a calender to support her brother and his family during his serious medical issues. For this calendar she sent out a request for photo's of men, wrapped in quilts, eating a burrito. What a brilliant idea! Husband and I had every intent of submitting a photo. Then we had weeks of rain, not good for outdoor photography which I thought would be so nice considering where we live. Then I forgot, totally forgot about the whole thing. Until today, just follow the link to preview the new calender.........it is absolutely amazing, but be a little warned, we have some nudity.
Now, this is a calendar!

| Wow, so many little pieces, such dimension. Another Expo Quilt. |
Now that you have seen all the amazing men in their finest quilts, (did you see the fig leaf?) are you considering new ways to display your quilts? While I am considering a hanging item of some sort for a long wall, I will not look at a horse, a tractor (son has a similar piece of machinery)
somehow that doesn't sound right, or a burrito in the same way. Have a great day.
