Thought Provoking Saturday? A Re-run

I was cleaning up some photo files and came across this one from earlier this year. It still cracks me up. It could not be farther from Fine Photography but is more a statement on our culture. On top of each of those bolts are little collections of spent chewing gum. This is the concrete base that supports a light pole in a local supermarket. I checked and all of the poles have some of this. Is it a cult thing? UFO's coming at night? Or just a culture test where one person parks the gum, waiting to see how many others will join in the game? By the colors I guessed at flavors in the original post on camera shy, regular, grape and tutti frutti. Have a lovely week-end with friends and family.
