Looking Forward, My New Year

 New Year Fireworks

I stopped making resolutions about a decade ago.
I hope this year is better than the last one.
I know each year has its ups and downs, that's life.
I will do my best to be my best self.
I also know that sometimes I will not be that person.
I hope that you will find your year to come to be all that you desire.
I am thankful and grateful for all the friends I have made during this last year with blogging.
I hope to make more.
Happy New Year from Corinne in Sewtopia!
You may have noticed a change in the background color of the blog.
Green is a "go" color, a promise of new growth to come, a hopeful color.
2012, how many times will I write the wrong date? That is my big question!
The sun is shining, I have so many projects that wait
A new space to organize, too much stuff to organize!
Happy New Year to all, may our collective creative spirits be an inspiration to try new things
to learn better ways to do our best
and to support each other in the process!

Gratuity Moment: a Dear Friend who sent a beautiful plaque with  a verse that summarized so many emotions, defined my pain and gave me simple reassurance that my Dear Son would not want me to mourn forever, he would want me to go on, to smile, and live the best life that I can, until I see him again.
I plan to try.

I wish I had words to help ease your heart, but I haven't experienced your pain, and can't even imagine what you are going through. I do hope you find strength and comfort, and have a blessed New Year.

Hello Corinne!
I just wanted to jump in here and wish you a Happy New Year. For so long I popped into your blog and hadn't seen any progress, but boy have you been keeping busy!

I am so sorry to read of your loss, it is unimaginable. He would want you to be happy and do all those things creative nutty mothers do.

A big hug to you over the ether, and 2012 will be as you say another year of ups and downs but the future holds the promise of opportunity to try new things and continue your blogging.

All the best,
Lourdes
