Christmas Holidays

a window display, the snow is fake, works for me, taken by Dear Son, via cell phone
It is warm here, between 40-60+ degree F. There will not be a white Christmas, just a wet one. OK with me, I don't have to shovel wet.

It is impossible for me to believe how quickly the last few months have progressed. Certainly, many the many challenges presented have changed our normal celebration this year. But we will celebrate the birth of Christ, in our way.

Dear Husband has taken the week away from the office so that will be a nice diversion. Unfortunately, the Blackberry remains ever present and not everyone is off next week. So while work is distant, the call of the ever present problems will continue.

The darling dogs, bathed and ready for their holiday photo, found some fragrant stuff to roll in behind the barn and needed a hasty bath. So there will be a little delay on that front. Miss Lucy, just revisited the site and needs another treatment. Dogs!!! Deer!!! Wild Turkey!!! Good grief.

As I watch the morning news, a local television station is awarding the prize for the most fantastic (outlandish, tacky, wacky) light display. Clark Griswald has nothing on this duo. I like a few well placed lights, highlighting greenery, twinkle on a banister, a candle in the window.....but Oh, my!  To each his own, congrats to who ever you are.

I am still working on setting up the new sewing space and after the New Year I should be able to share the final product. I was originally going to photograph the process, but really, do you care how many times I move this piece of furniture or that? I don't even care. So it will be the almost finished product, next week.

Have a lovely Holiday with family and friends, see you in about a week.
