Well, late to the party here I think. While sitting in traffic this morning I heard an advertisement for legalzoom.com that stated it was "Make a Will Month." Now, not to belabor a morbid point, but have you left instructions as to who gets your sewing stuff if you will no longer be using it? Literally. I have a will, I have loosely indicated to family who could have my sewing stuff, but now that I think about it, it is sort of a big deal. All these machines, notions, fabric, books etc. represent a major investment.
Our quilt guild occasionally receives sewing and quilting related items to resell in our annual flea market. I have heard that a local women's shelter welcomes basic machines. I have even heard of some missions with technical programs for rehabilitation welcome such endowments. Not to be snarky here, but what does one really do with high end computerized machines? Ideas are welcome.
So now I think I need to be more practical about all this and develop a plan. One more thing for the to-do list. Geez!
Gratuity Moment: I hope I have time to work this all out:)
