Busy day. I am sure everyone deals with situations like this from time to time. During this blogging Hiatus, I have really challenged myself to wrap up many small projects. Everything from small mending projects to giving Bertie a re-do. Of course, I am moving things around trying to corral the ever growing stash items from wool felting and quilting and to garment sewing. I like to have the patterns that I plan to make in the near future visible in the sewing/cutting area. It gives me time to settle them in my head and consider fabrications, from stash only. Everything from playing with new threads to sorting scraps to keep or not to keep. How do you decide about fabric scraps? I have a hard time discarding anything more than 3 inches square. I know people who save every little bit. Yikes, that is more than I am ready to do right now. However, I do save larger pieces in zip-lock bags for mending, piecing etc. I will spare you the details of messy drawers and junk piles every where. Maybe once I get reorganized I do some summary photos of my workspace. If anyone cares.
So a little pause in the stitching, a few of my flowers currently in bloom.
