Book Review-Landscape quilting

Wednesday already. Each day more complicated than the one before...that translates as no sewing yet :( Lots of dark clouds and rain. A bright spot, however, presents itself in the two Landscape Quilting books I received from Nancy's Notions. They also come with DVD's that I have yet to see. The books are great color and explanations derived from the series on her Sewing with Nancy PBS program. I have learned so much from those programs.

After I review the DVD's I will try this again. It is such a lovely quilting style. Something I really want to learn.

  • add to the "to do list" stash sorting. I found some great fabrics to use for at home clothes.  Believe it or not, I am just now a new convert to the capri length pant. I am not sure why but I never cared for the length on me. However, for making at home clothes that need to be cool and comfortable, I will give it a try. Old legs need more coverage these days, Capri's might be the answer...hope springs eternal.
