A Blink in the Land of Blog

pretty little flowers in my Windmill garden
Nothing like a long Holiday week-end to provide a little extra time for blog catch-up. I never cease to be amazed at all the talent out there. From photography, sewers, quilters, knitters etc, etc, the talent is endless. A little round-up of a very few of my favorites. There are so many that I admire but this will just be a blink in the land of blog. **please copy and paste links, I can't get the link thingy to work, sorry.

Patty, over at the SnugBug, is a sewer extraordinaire. Her overviews and tutorials are just so timely.    http://www.pattythesnugbug.com/

Casey, at Elegant Musings, is a multi talented young lady who blogs about Vintage clothing, sewing and styling. Her video's for recreating Vintage hairstyles are amazing. http://elegantmusings.com/

And, of course, Tasia, of Sewaholic, is a life inspiration for anyone who sews and want to make a career of it. Her philosophy, patterns and on-line tutorials are the best.   http://sewaholic.net/

Have you met Kathy Southern over at StudioKat Designs? Well this unbelievably talented lady designs purse patterns and so much more on her blog. I cannot believe how talented she is and how much she shares with her readers, please check her out.  Her post today about "Contentment" is so touching and so true. A recipe, so to speak, for thought.    http://studiokatdesigns.blogspot.com/

And last but not least in this round up is Julochka, over at Moments of Perfect Clarity. Her amazing photography and thought provoking posts brighten my day. She is multi-talented and shares this with her readers.   http://www.julochka.com/

Writing this little blog has given me major appreciation for those who write the great blogs, the phenomenal tutorials,  the oodles of research. My hat is off to you. I have essentially no skills with the computer stuff, thankfullly, Blogger, makes it rather easy to put together a little bit of information. In closing, I want to thank all these wonderful ladies for the inspiration and education you have given me.

Gratuity Moment: Meeting up with my Mothers old friends, seeing that in advanced age (80-90 years of age!) these ladies still dress up, connect, and laugh.
