This the reason (excuse) that I am behind on the T shirt project! It's a good reason too. I ordered this book after reading several reviews and by ironic coincidence Casey, over at http://elegantmusings.com/ was reviewing same and hosting a give away. Well, great minds do think alike. I am always interested in Vintage Sewing Books. I do believe they have inspired me in many ways. That said, this is a new book based on the work of Mary Brooks Picken and her school "The Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts and Sciences." Casey reviewed the book nicely so I won't repeat it here. But if you can get your little hands on a copy, do so.
