6 Tips for Your Sewing and Mending, and a Casserole Carrier.

Today I want to share some timely video's that I viewed while looking for something else! That happens a lot!

Peaceful, tranquil, contemplative sights. This was a scene last Fall at Phipps in the Japanese garden. There are little benches scattered through the garden for your repose.

With our world opening up again is there a pot-luck dinner in your future? Of course, there are many carriers available in the market place but let us remember left over batting pieces and pieces of fabric we all have and convert those into your own very special not difficult to make pot/bowl carrier. HERE, is another little video to solve your problem!
  •  One of my favorite bridal shower gifts is a special bowl or cook pot paired with it's own carrier. When asked to contribute to a dinner I usually pair that food item with a serving bowl, sort of generic in style to blend with the hosts dinnerware, and its own carrier so it can be reused, and/or re-gifted!

I don't think I've ever seen scissors that large.

I have a pair of tailors shears, inherited from MIL, with blades that are 12 inches long! Also rather heavy but the blade on the bottom as it sits in your hand is flat and glides across a cutting table with ease. Sharp as can be!
