It Doesn't Get Much Better than This!

I have mentioned several times on this blog that quilters are multi-talented. Karen is no exception to that rule. A Ladies of the Cloth member, Karen never ceases to amaze me with her diverse talents. She made these sweet little bags and wallets for her Grand Daughters. The fabric choices are perfect for this application. On the little zipped wallets note the little appliques, this one below has a "K" and some sweet metallic gimp to set off the two fabrics.
Look at the fabrics on this one, dots, can you see the dots on the under layer!
This one has a "J" and pink rick-rack. Love it.

Pattern and Fabric information:

The pattern for the origami type bag is as follows:

The smaller zippered bag I (Karen) got off the internet and is as follows:

The two (2) background fabrics were from my (Karen's) stash, the black background fabric is from Fabric Traditions 2005 Copyright.  www.fabrictraditions.com
The aqua background fabric is called “Ribbon Dance”, a Stonehill Collection by Donna Wilder for Fabric Traditions a 2009 Copyright.
