 As I read a few of my favorite blogs I am reminded of a reality specific to creative people. Recently, several creatives have remarked about the famous/or infamous Block! Writers, quilters, pattern makers...we all have ups and downs in our productivity. Sometimes it is from over-work, deadlines or general frustrations with finished products. Sometimes physical illness saps our energy from the brain down. And of course general intrusions of life can interrupt the flow. Because many work independently and not in a business or corporate environment, self-direction is key to success. In my mind, however, it is that self-directed behavior that feeds the creative spirit. The Creative life is something of a full circle that requires a recharge now and then. Sharing your creative journey with like minded souls helps to recharge or at least gain perspective. Serenity Sunday is a step in that direction. May this day recharge your creative spirit.
