It seems that everywhere I look I am seeing quilt designs.! Clearly an overload during the Fall season because the leaf colors are so stunning. In the above display I am seeing applique for a center medallion on a beautiful quilt. Ironically, the theme of the Three Rivers Quilt Guild this year is leaves.My famous line is "I am busy in my head." I tend to over-think projects. No wonder I am so slow. I still think this would be an interesting center block, maybe surrounded by my all time favorite quilt block The Log Cabin.
Consider this, place the applique leaves in the center then use the Log Cabin half and full blocks around it. Of course I would switch out the colors. Thinking out loud.............Since my sewing and quilting time is non-existant recently, I'll put this on the list. :)
