April, welcome. Cold, snow and dreary skies be gone!
*This post was supposed to go up last week, a glitch has apparently occurred:)
How is that for a mixed title? Well, of course, if you are a regular reader you already know that I learned years ago to choose a day, per month, to catch up on my mending. One of my least favorite tasks is mending. I like creating and sewing new things and not rescuing old but reality sets in and on the first Monday of the month, I fix. This keeps me up to date with no piles of this and that in the studio. This month it is hemming pants, with and without cuffs. Husband needed new clothes, He is between available lengths, therefore I hem. Not to bore you with the mundane I also have started a new crochet project.

My basket of colors for this project are bright and happy with fun gradations built in. I haven't touched it for a couple days because I have been working on a quilt. That I will share later in the week. In the meantime I need to recount my stitches, I think I went off the pattern during our movie night of ARGO. This will be the fourth rip out. The occasional salty language sort of distracted me! from the movie dahlings, not from me! heaven forbid! Well, that sounds like a good excuse to me!
