The Lights are Back On

After what seems like a long absence from blogging, (who knew)  the life has been restored to my own computer. I remarked to a friend that I felt like I was using someone else's toothbrush the last few weeks. Like putting on a pair of comfortable old shoes, I am back in my comfort zone. On this cold, still Winter day, I have all the lights on in the house  to drive away the dreariness. Meterological Spring? Really?

I will play a little catch up here. My last photo's from my Tuesday Sew and Sews Group never saw the light of day so I will share them now. Hopefully, I have remembered which quilt belongs to which person but they are all lovely and deserve their debut.
I think this is Rose's finished quilt bordered and bound. You have seen this in progress before.

This is Karen's baby quilt. Check out the little ruffles inserted on the border strips at the top and bottom, in what appears to be striped fabric.

Another sweet baby quilt from Karen

A challenge project from another group, this little hand painted piece from Jenny is getting its beads applied.

Well, that is all for now. Hope everyone is well and looking forward to new projects. I have some to share with you that I completed during this little hiatus.

Those are all beautiful quilts. I know how you feel about your computer. Mine is being repaired now, but I have a little Netbook to work with, thank goodness!

I am finding I am less and less flexible about some things. I don't care for it, and I have resisted the tendency, but there you have it. Hope yours comes back all well and ready to go1
