I remember last Spring |
I have a few tunic patterns. I have made a few as well, but the contradiction for me lies in the cut. I struggle with the look. At my age I don't want the maternity look or the sloppy silhouette sometimes evoked by a tunic. This one might touch both of those negatives. The description includes the fact that it is very loose fitting. I like the sleeve length, I like the dropped shoulder, I don't care for the blousy shape at the waist. Now that I look closely the neckline looks like it is gaping a bit, could be just the fabric. I like the look with a belt, but I don't wear many belts. So re-draft the neckline a little higher in the front. taper the sides to give some shape, mmm. I am sure I have something similar in the archives, so I would likely pass on this one.
