She's Not Looney, She's Loomy!

So many yarns, so little time. I have had great fun playing with the Knifty Knitter. I keep all my single skeins and little balls in one very large basket. That way I can see all the colors, how much is left etc. Some people prefer fruit basket, I go for the yarn.

Giant Yellow Dog is not impressed. The extended recovery period from this flu is no fun for him. I am rather weak and he is tired of dragging me on our walks. Then he has to watch me play with yarn. B-o-r-e-d-o-m!

I decided to change up the project a bit. I tried using two yarns at a time. The pegs are spaced far enough apart that this works easily. You could easily use a chunky or chenille yarn with these as well.

Is it a Vortex? An ice tunnel?

No, it is another knitty thing. This is the second largest peg ring, it measures 9.5 inches. So what can I do with this......tea cozy!

the cozy, I know it resembles a tossel cap, but trust me it is a tea cozy! Form fitting so to speak:)
Now I am working on hats for adults, even though it is 75 degrees outside today, I am making hats. Sort of a jump on Christmas 2012! Have a great week-end.

Gratuity Moment: Maintaining the yarn stash.
