Meet Tom and Jerry on a Beautiful Spring Sunday

Around 4 am, every day, I mean every single day, these two clowns are gobbling around the house below my bedroom window. The object of their desire is not one of the 50+ hens roosting in the trees behind the barn, Noooooooooooooooooooo, it is the chrome bumper on my Husband's truck. Listen to me, you would have to see it to believe it and I have tried to catch them but these might be the smartest turkeys known to man. As soon as the window or door opens they are off, like road runners they are!

I call them Tom and Jerry. They are always together. Last week Husband said one of them met their maker on the sharp bend in the road at the bottom of my driveway. Feathers everywhere. I felt so bad, we sort of have a relationship. But no, not one of them but one of the girls was going the wrong way on a two lane street.

Strutting and gobbling all the time on the hill behind the house is grand entertainment during the Sunday family dinner hour. Thanks everyone!

Girlfriend of Son adorned gift with fresh flowers. His wisteria is in full bloom thanks to a mild Winter here. Beautiful scented gift.
